Preliminary studies show a deterioration of the implantation, which on the other hand allows a greater freedom for the design. The concept for the masterplan aims to convert the found qualities into positive and useful aspects in the rules that make the place attractive and unmistakable while maintaining its relationship with the context. We see the site as a kind of palimpsest in which the old is overwritten, but its tracks are not erased.
